The
C-130 crashed killing the pilot and copilot and badly burning the navigator.
The loadmaster rode that cargo all the way up to the front of the aircraft.
He walked out through the hole in the side of the plane. The base commander
said "I guess everyone was killed in that one," and the loadmaster
said "no colonel not me--do not notify my next of kin."
