This agriculture pilot from Knoxville [134th ARW]
was flying when the engine in his aircraft quit. After passing over
the field he crashed into a pine forest with the wings folded behind
it and the tail sticking up in the air. He climbed out and hitchhiked
back, but no one would pick him up. He had a gash on his leg from
a bracket he failed to pad up, so he wiped some blood on his face
and a bread truck picked him up. So you have to have
some injuries or you never get back to town.
